Free assisted migration

EnrolWeb offers free migrations for most standard websites, including WordPress and cPanel-based sites.

Submit a migration request

Go to your hosting dashboard and click Request Migration, or email support@enrolweb.com.

Share your current host details

Provide login access (cPanel credentials, FTP, or a backup file) for your current host.

Wait for the migration

Our team migrates your files, databases, and emails. Most migrations complete within 24-48 hours.

Verify your site

Test your migrated site on our staging URL, then update your DNS to point to EnrolWeb.

Manual migration

Back up your current site

From your current host, download a full backup: files, databases, and email accounts.

Upload files to EnrolWeb

Use cPanel File Manager or FTP/SFTP to upload your site files to public_html.

Import your database

In cPanel, open phpMyAdmin, create a new database, and import your .sql file.

Update site configuration

Update database credentials and site URLs in your app’s config (for WordPress, that’s wp-config.php).

Test before switching DNS

Preview your site on the temporary EnrolWeb URL. Once it’s working, update your domain’s DNS to point to EnrolWeb.

After migration

Update DNS records

Point your domain to EnrolWeb hosting.

Enable SSL

Activate the free SSL certificate for HTTPS.

Verify email

Make sure email accounts and forwarders work correctly.

Set up backups

Confirm backups are running on your new host.
Keep your old hosting active for at least 7 days after migration to give DNS time to propagate globally.
