# Website Migration

> Migrate your website to EnrolWeb hosting with free assisted migration or a step-by-step manual process for files, databases, and email.

Moving your existing website to EnrolWeb is straightforward. Choose free assisted migration for a hands-off experience, or follow the manual steps if you prefer full control.

## Free assisted migration

EnrolWeb offers free migrations for most standard websites, including WordPress and cPanel-based sites.

    Provide login access (cPanel credentials, FTP, or a backup file) for your current host.

  <Step title="Wait for the migration">
    Our team migrates your files, databases, and emails. Most migrations complete within 24-48 hours.

  <Step title="Verify your site">
    Test your migrated site on our staging URL, then update your DNS to point to EnrolWeb.

## Manual migration

  <Step title="Back up your current site">
    From your current host, download a full backup: files, databases, and email accounts.

  <Step title="Upload files to EnrolWeb">
    Use cPanel File Manager or FTP/SFTP to upload your site files to `public_html`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Import your database">
    In cPanel, open **phpMyAdmin**, create a new database, and import your `.sql` file.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update site configuration">
    Update database credentials and site URLs in your app's config (for WordPress, that's `wp-config.php`).

  <Step title="Test before switching DNS">
    Preview your site on the temporary EnrolWeb URL. Once it's working, update your domain's DNS to point to EnrolWeb.

## After migration
