# Domain Troubleshooting

> Fix common domain issues including DNS propagation delays, expired domains, failed transfers, and connectivity problems with your EnrolWeb domain.

Most domain issues fall into a handful of common categories. This guide helps you diagnose and resolve the problems you're most likely to encounter with your EnrolWeb domain.

## My website isn't loading

    DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate globally. Use [whatsmydns.net](https://whatsmydns.net) to check.

  <Step title="Verify DNS records">
    Confirm your A or CNAME record points to the correct hosting IP or domain.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check nameservers">
    Make sure your nameservers match those provided by your DNS host.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the domain isn't expired">
    Expired domains stop resolving. Check the expiration date in your dashboard.
  </Step>

## My email isn't working

  <Step title="Verify MX records">
    MX records must match those provided by your email service (EnrolWeb Business Email, Google, Microsoft, etc.).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check SPF, DKIM, and DMARC">
    These TXT records authenticate your email. Missing or incorrect values cause delivery issues.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm propagation">
    Recent DNS changes may still be propagating.
  </Step>

## My domain transfer failed

## My domain expired

<Steps>

    Most domains have a 30-day grace period at the standard renewal price.

  <Step title="Redeem in the redemption period">
    After the grace period, redemption fees apply (typically $80-$150 extra).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for release">
    If not redeemed, the domain is released for public registration after \~75 days.
  </Step>

  Enable auto-renewal to avoid losing your domain. Recovery after full expiration is not always possible.
