# Email Setup

> Complete end-to-end email setup for your EnrolWeb domain, covering provider choice, DNS records, mailboxes, client configuration, and delivery testing.

This guide walks you through the full process of setting up business email on your EnrolWeb domain, whether you choose EnrolWeb Business Email, Zoho, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365. The steps are the same at a high level: pick a provider, verify ownership, configure DNS, create mailboxes, connect clients, and test.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a provider">
    Pick the option that matches your team size, budget, and collaboration needs.

    <CardGroup cols={2}>
      <Card title="Business Email" icon="envelope" href="/Business Email & Collaboration/cant-sign-in">
        EnrolWeb's own reliable email hosting.
      </Card>

      <Card title="Zoho Mail" icon="cloud" href="/Business Email & Collaboration/index">
        Affordable email plus productivity apps.
      </Card>

      <Card title="Google Workspace" icon="globe" href="/Business Email & Collaboration/index-3">
        Gmail, Drive, Meet on your domain.
      </Card>

      <Card title="Microsoft 365" icon="shield" href="/Business Email & Collaboration/cant-sign-in-2-2-4">
        Outlook, Teams, and Office apps.
      </Card>
    </CardGroup>

    Not sure? Compare all four in \[Choosing the Right Email Solution]\(/Business Email & Collaboration/cant-sign-in-2-2).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify your domain">
    Your provider will give you a TXT verification record. Add it in your EnrolWeb DNS manager at the root of your domain, wait a few minutes for propagation, then click **Verify** in your provider's dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add MX records">
    MX records tell the internet where to deliver your mail. Remove any old MX records, then add the ones from your provider. See \[Email DNS Records]\(/Business Email & Collaboration/cant-sign-in-2-2-3-2) for full details.

    <Warning>
      Only one set of MX records should be active. Mixing MX records from different providers causes lost or rejected messages.
    </Warning>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add SPF, DKIM, and DMARC">
    These records prevent spoofing and improve deliverability.

    * **SPF**: authorizes which servers can send for your domain
    * **DKIM**: signs outgoing messages cryptographically
    * **DMARC**: tells recipients how to handle failing messages

    Publish all three as TXT records using values from your provider's admin console.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create mailboxes">
    Log in to your provider's admin console and create mailboxes for your team. Common first addresses: `admin@yourdomain.com`, `support@yourdomain.com`, and per-user mailboxes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure clients">
    Set up email on your team's devices.

    * \[Mobile setup]\(/Business Email & Collaboration/cant-sign-in-2-2-2-2)

    <Note>
      For Microsoft 365, use Exchange in Outlook. For other providers, use IMAP.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Test delivery">
    Send a test message from your new address to an external account (Gmail, Yahoo). Reply back. Confirm both directions work and check the spam folder. If anything fails, review \[Email Troubleshooting]\(/Business Email & Collaboration/index-2).
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Keep your old email active during the transition to avoid losing messages while DNS propagates.
